Janine Vandebosch (°1967), graduated as interior designer at the Antwerp Academy, makes her debut as an artist in the official art circuit. This is yet another story full of stories that trigger the viewer’s associations and emotions. The starting point is something from reality or imaginary. Then it begins to live its own life on a sheet of paper. A recognizable body in thin lines with a black paint stripe over it, the broken contours of a head in pink paint or whatever, these are fields of tension of lines and paint stripes. Firm and yet sensitive, fragile and accurate, cramped or calm, and somewhat disturbing. A story regarding man and the angry outside world.
