Never Mind the Weather brings together the distinctive worlds of Tamara Van San, Samuel Lemba and Takeshi Matsugami , three artists united by an intuitive and deeply personal approach to their practice.
Van San’s exuberant sculptures seem to grow according to their own logic, unfolding through colour, volume and form. Lemba’s paintings hover between figuration and abstraction, between the visible and the unseen, while Matsugami draws from fleeting moments and everyday observations, transforming them into quietly poetic images.
Working across different materials, cultures and visual languages, the three artists share a sense of freedom, curiosity and openness. Their work invites us to look beyond the obvious, embrace the unexpected, and see where it takes us.
