Janine Vandebosch
Janine Vandebosch (°1967) graduated as an interior designer at the Antwerp Academy, and her story is yet another one full of stories that trigger the viewer's associations and emotions. The starting point is something from reality or imaginary. Then, it begins to live its own life on a sheet of paper. A recognizable body in thin lines with a black paint stripe over it, the broken contours of a head in pink paint or whatever, are fields of tension of lines and paint stripes. Firm and yet sensitive, fragile and accurate, cramped or calm, and somewhat disturbing. It is a story regarding man and the angry outside world.
