Clémence van Lunen

In this new series Clémence van Lunen based her work on the use of brick. She was intrigued by this raw earth, which has all the resistance she likes to encounter. With as much imagination and humor as irreverence, Clémence van Lunen transforms these

hollow bricks, which have their own architecture,

by cutting, shaping and assembling them to give

them an unexpected aspect close to metal. Here, the

flowers, twisted, withered, bent, straight, become

real sculptures of real architecture.
